Star Wars: TLJ Episode

It time for The Beta Bros...to end...So that THE BETA REPORT can finally return to full strength. That's right people, Uno, like exiled Luke, has felt the Force calling to him from a distance, and is now back! And, what better time to return, as we focus our force powers to try and tackle what will surely be one of the best movies of the year. That's right, this is our Star Wars: The Last Jedi Episode. But, that's not all. We also have our favorite art director, toy maker, Cudahy shaker and all around dope dude, Carlos Mendoza on today's episode too. 

We're all in to discuss what we know, share theories, and make our predictions as well. Plus, we got our PICK OF THE WEEK and we also have our first sponsored episode....ever!

Star Wars Trailer Reaction

It's Episode 92! The brand new trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi is here! And we have some thoughts, observations, questions, theories, concerns...Our stress level is sky high right now! We also talk about the new Justice League trailer and we sneak in a few comments about Thor: Ragnarok. The KON also reviews Inhumans and The Gifted.

(Not So) Mini Episode

Jay is visiting family out of state, but that won't stop him from sitting alone, in a car, on a dark street, in a dusky small town in New Mexico fearing alien probes, blue meth dealers or Pennywise to provide you with the most entertaining nonsense you can imagine. You can always count on The Beta Bros to waste your time no matter which state we are in. You can also count on TBR to do a mini-episode, but still make it an hour long show!

This week, we discuss the return of JJ Abrams to the Star Wars Universe as its being reported that he has now been hired to write and direct Episode IX after Colin Trevorrow's firing. We also talk Narcos: Season 3, Little Evil, and Guillermo del Toro's The Shape of Water, which we unfortunately missed in our last episode "Fall Preview (Movies)".

The Cat's Meow

Episode 65! On today's show The Beta Bros welcome a very special guest to the program. Its our pleasure to introduce our dear friend, Catherine aka "Cat"  Lampon to The Beta Report family. From board game conventions to mathematics jokes, we are excited to have her on the show. We are also thrilled to explore the weird and wild world of Reddit with her, in a new segment called Cat Chat. And, of course, this wouldn't be a TBR show if we didn't talk a little Star Wars. More specifically, the newly revealed title for Episode VIII: The Last Jedi. Is it singular or plural?!?! So much speculation...Damn you Lucasfilm!
