GLASS REVIEW (SPOILER-ISH)

In case you guys haven’t heard, GLASS has made more than $100 Million Dollars in the box office to date. It only took $20 Million to make. That’s insane! But, it is good though? Did we really need this trilogy 18 years after Unbreakable first burst onto the scene? And the twists…were they effective or is it all just played out now? The Beta Bros take a deep dive into M. Night Shyamalan’s introspection of the superhero genre to give you guys their impressions, likes, and dislikes.

We also talk about Glass’ main competition last weekend with the return of our favorite gun wielding vigilante Frank Castle in Netflix’s The Punisher, Season 2. Jay also gives his thoughts on the third season of the HBO thriller: True Detective. Its a packed show!

Star Wars: The Last Jedi Review (SPOILER)

The Beta Bros have seen Star Wars: The Last Jedi and they couldn't wait to talk about it! So, they went straight from the theater to the TBR HQ and laid down this spoiler filled review. From who are Rey's parents, to Reylo,  and the adorable Progs, The Beta Bros cover everything in this movie in ridiculous overstated enthusiasm. So, strap in and get ready to blast off to a galaxy far, far away in this all Star Wars episode!

This might be our last episode of the year. So, if we don't get to post another episode in 2017, we wish you all a very happy holiday season and an amazing New Year! 

(Not So) Mini Episode

Jay is visiting family out of state, but that won't stop him from sitting alone, in a car, on a dark street, in a dusky small town in New Mexico fearing alien probes, blue meth dealers or Pennywise to provide you with the most entertaining nonsense you can imagine. You can always count on The Beta Bros to waste your time no matter which state we are in. You can also count on TBR to do a mini-episode, but still make it an hour long show!

This week, we discuss the return of JJ Abrams to the Star Wars Universe as its being reported that he has now been hired to write and direct Episode IX after Colin Trevorrow's firing. We also talk Narcos: Season 3, Little Evil, and Guillermo del Toro's The Shape of Water, which we unfortunately missed in our last episode "Fall Preview (Movies)".
