From Allie and Noah in the Notebook, to Jim and Pam from The Office, some Movie and TV romances are too good to be make-believe. There are some timeless love stories in movies and television that transcend the confines of our screens and nestle deep in the warmest, most cuddliest parts of our hearts. We watch them and dwell on them, but then realize, its not real. But, what if, they weren't fake? What if, our favorite movie/TV romances could magically slip out of the screen, and just like the story of Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves actually getting married on the set of Dracula, their onscreen tales of love were actually, real? If this were the case, The KON and Jay give their favorite movie couples they wish could come true.
And, what's a good relationship without a few romantic rendezvous? A lovers getaway? A mid-summer soiree? Well, have no fear, because The Beta Bros have a few museum recommendations that will breath life into any love affair..while also satiating your hunger for adventure and excitement in the new world of dark tourism. There's nothing more romantic than the museum of ventriloquist dummies, Mexican mummy's, or Toilets in India! We got all this and so much more, on this week's episode of The Beta Report.

The box. Telly. Small screen. The tube. The boob-tube. TV. Television. We all have one. Or two, or three. We even carry one in our pocket now! The way we consume TV shows today, has changed dramatically in the last couple of years. With streaming services, cable channel apps, and video-sharing websites all providing access to what we could only get at a certain time in one particular place, has now opened up a world of opportunities to mind-numbingly binge every TV show that is out there. But, with all those possibilities now available to us, it might be hard to figure out what to watch, when to watch, and where to watch some of the new and returning shows in 2018. That’s where we come in. The Beta Report has done all your homework for you. They don’t call one of us the King of The Nerds for nothing. In today’s episode, we highlight some of the best brand new shows coming out this year and we also look at some of our favorite returning shows like Jessica Jones, The Handmaid’s Tale and Atlanta.

It time for The Beta Bros...to end...So that THE BETA REPORT can finally return to full strength. That's right people, Uno, like exiled Luke, has felt the Force calling to him from a distance, and is now back! And, what better time to return, as we focus our force powers to try and tackle what will surely be one of the best movies of the year. That's right, this is our Star Wars: The Last Jedi Episode. But, that's not all. We also have our favorite art director, toy maker, Cudahy shaker and all around dope dude, Carlos Mendoza on today's episode too.
We're all in to discuss what we know, share theories, and make our predictions as well. Plus, we got our PICK OF THE WEEK and we also have our first sponsored episode....ever!

Before we get into this week's show, we just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the tragedy which took place in England yesterday, as we extend our deepest sympathies and prayers to the families of those affected. We also send out our love and prayers to Zack Snyder and his family after announcing the loss of his daughter. This is all truly devastating news, and our hearts and prayers are with them all.
Its episode 78! TBR is at full strength again, as the lovely Cat rejoins us this week. On today's episode we break down all of the new movie news that has just been announced. From the Tom's getting new roles i.e. Tom Holland as Nathan Drake and Tom Hardy as Venom, Universal's Movie Monster Universe...DARK UNIVERSE aka "Monster Squad 2.0", now taking shape, to our close friend and occasional podcast guest Arnold Schwarzenegger, announcing that he is going to be in yet another Terminator movie but this time with the great James Cameron involved as well. Episode 76! Guardians of The Galaxy: Vol 2 is finally here. This has been one of our most anticipated movies of the year and, for some of us, it didn't disappoint. Though, not all of us felt the same about the movie. Some of us weren't really feeling the Brady Bunch-esque character drama that the movie presented. So, listen in to get our SPOILER FREE review of the film and find out what we loved and what we didn't like so much from the movie. Also, it wouldn't be a Guardians-centric show if we didn't talk about the music in the movie. Its no surprise that Guardians of The Galaxy and James Gunn have become synonymous with a great soundtrack, and this film lives up to that claim x 100! In that same vein, we look at other great songs that thrust their respective movies from great features to iconic films like Rocky and Eye of the Tiger, Top Gun and Danger Zone...and Guardians of the Galaxy : Vol 2 and The Chain (Trust us, that song makes this movie!). All that, plus a few surprises, on this week's episode of The Beta Report.
Its Episode 74! Back at it again with this Star Wars talk. So much amazing news came out of the Star Wars 40th Celebration in Orlando. This week we break down the new Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer and poster that were released last week. We also discuss some theories and rumors we've heard from around the web about the whispers we hear in the trailers, Rey's parents, and what "the Jedi must end" really means. Plus, we also review Fast 8 and its possible cause of baldness in men (we see you Vin Diesel, Rock, Tyresse, and Jason Statham). We also have our review of The Get Down: Part 2! #GiveNapoleonSomeLove Its another loaded show, so keep it locked here on this week's episode of The Beta Report.
Its Episode 73! Thor! Taika! Thor! Taika! Thor: Ragnarok just dropped a new trailer and its fantastic. We have our reaction to that interstellar beauty and we can't stop ourselves from gushing over director Taika Waititi and all of his movies. Seriously, do yourself a favor and watch Hunt for the Wilderpeople, What we do in the Shadows, and the Team Thor Shorts. We promise you wont be disappointed. We also tour the world of Reddit in a brand new edition of Cat Chat. Plus, the world's longest intro!
Episode 65! On today's show The Beta Bros welcome a very special guest to the program. Its our pleasure to introduce our dear friend, Catherine aka "Cat" Lampon to The Beta Report family. From board game conventions to mathematics jokes, we are excited to have her on the show. We are also thrilled to explore the weird and wild world of Reddit with her, in a new segment called Cat Chat. And, of course, this wouldn't be a TBR show if we didn't talk a little Star Wars. More specifically, the newly revealed title for Episode VIII: The Last Jedi. Is it singular or plural?!?! So much speculation...Damn you Lucasfilm! All that and so much more on this week's episode of The Beta Report.
